SikaCor® EG-1 is a 2-component, micaceous iron oxide intermediate coating based on epoxy resin. Low solvent content according to the guideline of the Paint Industry Association for corrosion protection and coating materials (VdL-RL 04).
APPLICATION
SikaCor® EG-1 is intended for use by professional applicators only. SikaCor® EG-1 is used as a mechanically resistant intermediate coating for atmospherically surfaces of steel, hot-dip galvanized steel, spray galvanized steel, spray galvanized steel, stainless steel or aluminum. SikaCor® EG-1 in combination with 2-component primer and top coats provides a mechanically resistant, water- and chemical-resistant coating system for long-lasting corrosion protection up to C5 high, according to DIN EN ISO 12944-2.
